Gantivity is a product of DashFlow Solutions LLP ("DashFlow", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the gantivity.com website and the Gantivity application at app.gantivity.com (together, the "Service"), why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. This policy applies alongside the DashFlow Solutions privacy policy, which covers the wider company.

1. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact and demo-request data — name, email address, organization, role, and message content when you request early access or a demo through our Tally form or by emailing us.
- Account data — when you register on app.gantivity.com: name, email, organization, role, and login credentials. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
- Project content — the content you and your team create in Gantivity: project schedules, work breakdown structures, tasks and dependencies, messages and channel conversations, daily progress report (DPR) entries, issues and escalations, and any files or photos you attach.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, session duration, and referring URLs.
- Device and log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and user-agent string, recorded for security, debugging, and spam prevention.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for details.
2. How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service — including scheduling, messaging, daily progress, issues, dashboards, and reports.
- Deliver AI-powered features, such as generating schedules in Studio, predicting delays, producing AI reports, and answering questions through ZAI. Your project content is processed only to deliver these features to you — we do not sell your content and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
- Respond to enquiries, early-access applications, demo requests, and support tickets.
- Send service communications, and — only with your consent — product news you can opt out of at any time.
- Monitor usage, detect abuse and fraud, and secure our systems.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Legal bases for processing
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar laws apply, we process personal data on the following bases:
- Contract — to provide the Service you or your organization have signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — to improve the Service, secure our systems, and communicate with business contacts, balanced against your rights.
- Consent — for marketing communications and non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where processing is required by applicable law, including Indian law applicable to DashFlow Solutions LLP.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Service providers — hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, form tools (Tally, for demo and early-access requests), analytics providers where enabled, and the AI model providers used to power features such as schedule generation, delay prediction, and ZAI — each bound by contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.
- Professional advisers — lawyers, auditors, and insurers where necessary.
- Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy.
5. Data retention
- Contact and demo-request submissions — up to 24 months after your last interaction, then deleted or anonymized.
- Account and project data — for as long as your account is active, and up to 90 days after deletion to allow recovery, unless a longer period is required by law or agreed in a customer contract.
- Server logs — typically 12 months, kept for security purposes.
6. Data security
We apply industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, least-privilege administration, hashed credentials, and regular review of our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data and will notify you and applicable regulators of a data breach where required by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@thedashflow.com. We respond within 30 days. Where Gantivity processes project content on behalf of a customer organization, we may direct your request to that organization as the data controller.
8. International data transfers
DashFlow Solutions LLP is based in India, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where data is transferred across borders from jurisdictions requiring safeguards, we use appropriate mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses or rely on providers' adequacy frameworks.
9. Children's privacy
Gantivity is a business product and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
